President

Mary moved to Colorado in an effort to balance work and play. A lawyer turned marketing professional, Mary spent nine years with the Time Inc. Magazine Company as the Vice President Regional Manager of their Targeted Media Division. There she won the prestigious Andrew Heiskell Community Service Award, selected out of over 900 nominees, for her years of work with children afflicted with cancer. Then, drawn by the entrepreneurial spirit, Mary moved to Inc. Magazine where she was the Midwest Regional Manager responsible for advertising and marketing in a 12 state region. In 1999, Newsweek Magazine lured Mary away to become their Sales Development Director working on multi-media marketing solutions with clients such as the Ford Motor Company, Daimler Chrysler, Microsoft, and Discover Card – just to name a few! She was also responsible for Newsweek’s alliance with MSNBC and its sister companies.

Challenge Aspen presented Mary with the opportunity to become their Development Director and drawn to the magic of the mountains, Mary and her black lab, Boo, moved to Colorado in 2001 – never looking back (except for an occasional football game at her alma mater, the University of Michigan)! There she was published in the Northwest Airlines in-flight publication for three consecutive issues, guest authored a piece in the Aspen Chamber Newsletter, edited and wrote the Challenge Aspen newsletter, organized and implemented special events and fundraisers and made several television and radio appearances.

Marketing being her passion, Mary launched RTM in 2003, assembling the top talent in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond to bring marketing solutions to a diverse group of clients. Mary also finds time to hike, bike, ski and enjoy the beauty of the Colorado Rockies.
