| Dani has joined RTM as a graphic designer,
adding to the agency’s diverse creative team. After spending
the majority of her life living in the Seattle area, she felt
it was time for a change of pace and scenery. Thanks to a couple
of very close friends who had made the move to Aspen years
prior, she decided to make the leap herself. The transition
was extremely easy, because everything she loved about the
Northwest can be found here in the Roaring Fork Valley….except
the ocean or a shopping mall.
Since graduating from Western
Washington University in 1994, Dani has continued to pursue
her passion for design and the arts.
She began her career managing the Computer Services Dept. at
a local Kinko’s, where she admits to never operating a
copy machine. She quickly changed gears and was hired as a Graphic
Designer for the City of Redmond. After seven years of developing
her skills and knowledge of the industry, she decided to pursue
a freelance career. But first she needed to do a little traveling...
After spending six months backpacking through Europe and three
months in New Zealand she returned to the States refreshed and
energized. She quickly developed a strong list of freelance design
clients, as well as started her own jewelry business. She was
enjoying the success of being “self-employed” but
desperately missed the camaraderie and creative energy that comes
from working with people. It was shortly after that she decided
to make the move out East.
